We’re Sarah & Raina 

Best friends who’d been tethered by an invisible string for years before eventually meeting through our kids. What followed was the kind of friendship that feels cosmic — that instant, easy “I’ve known you forever” kind of energy  And it’s a good thing we met when we did in life cause had we met when we were 20 we’d have gotten in a lot more trouble.

 

We love a late-night dance floor, bass that vibrates deep in our chest, dirty rap songs we know word-for-word, and a good story we cannot tell at school drop-off.

 

Music is our shared love language, and dancing is our release. So we created MATRONE as a way for people in their prime to move, sweat, laugh, and remember the fullness of who they are. This is not just a dance floor - it’s a collective pulse, a return to self, a reminder that our essence has never gone anywhere. It was just waiting for us to turn the music back on.
